Dynamic and innovative gnot goes to No 10 Downing Street!!!!
gnot was invited to No 10 Downing Street yesterday, as part of an important discussion session on how the government is helping small business and what more it can do to help. We can’t say too much about what was discussed, once you step out of those doors, discretion is expected at all times, but what we can tell you is that it was an amazing opportunity to raise everyday issues that affect small to medium sized businesses.
It’s very much as you would expect – very high security to get through the first set of gates and then again after the gates, before entering that famous (and extremely well polished!!) door…..just couldn’t resist a quick picture afterwards!!!! Once initial introductions were done it was literally down to business. The discussions were brilliant….the purpose of the meeting wasn’t to moan about this and that, it was acknowledging that there is more that can be done. How can resources and of course funds be applied to help entrepreneurs and business grow. We were also thrilled that we were allowed to bring and leave some samples of our gorgeous gnot hairbrushes for the Prime Minister, so here’s hoping we’ll hear some lovely feedback – that would be music to our ears!!
Since we launched gnot hairbrushes we have had such a fun time….with the official Opening in Selfridges, to the many exhibitions we have done, including exhibiting at Heathrow Terminal 5. We have met so many kind and amusing people along the way, (yes some mean ones too, that’s life!!) but going to No 10 Downing Street yesterday proves that the surprises never end when you work hard to make any business work. Thank you Downing Street for the opportunity yesterday and we hope the Prime Minister and his family love our quality gnot hairbrushes!!
